Early in the pandemic I figured I'd try out this whole ecommerce, Shopify merchant thing.
But I didn't want to spend much money or manage any inventory.
So I made a map store!
Territory Mapmakers sold digital map art for ~$1 an image based on the "in stock" inventory; I also took commissions and made custom maps for ~$10.
All the maps were made with ggplot2, Open Street Maps, and a bit of R code.
I learned a ton: how to use Shopify, how to tag my site effectively, how to run Facebook and Google Ads.
