A Fish as an NFT :-)

Built something new
This was a month after I entered the Web3  (early 2021). It seemed interesting to create a project in which every fishing fan could catch a fish ... like NFT. Yes Yes. The idea was to train the creation of projects and its promotion in order to assess the demand for such a toy or even pampering, but the conclusion that I got in the end was completely unexpected by me.

So, we have several dozen reservoirs in the USA (the number that I chose to start), I also chose three types of tackle and several types of bait used together for each gear. At the same time, we have thirty species of fish that are found in these reservoirs (this is the number that I decided to limit myself to, in fact, more).

Each fish has characteristics of length and weight, and there are limits and minimums allowed for catching. It was quite difficult to come up with a formula for the ratio of the weight of a fish to its size / length (as it turned out later, there is a special formula).

In general, see the result here (the project has been abandoned for more than a year, but it works great without support) - https://web3fishermen.com/

You choose a tackle, then a bait (only those baits that are used with this tackle automatically remain), then a pond and press the "Purchase" button (I did not write "Catch" so as not to mislead those who will play and pay in the end) . So, by clicking Purchase, the system generates a list of available fish according to whether it is caught in this reservoir, for this type of tackle with the selected bait. Then the size of the fish is selected (randomly, but within the given limits and taking into account the popularity - it is more difficult to catch a big fish) and your catch is available to you on this site (at the top in the header on the site, this fish will first appear and a little later within 24 hours it will appear on your Opensea wallet).

In general, I am pleased with the result, in 2021, fish were caught on our website for a little more than 1 ether (at a fishing price of 0.01 ether), and in addition to NFT, we made collectible cards and fridge magnets and sent them to fishermen who caught fish offline for free.

I wonder what meaning you think I put in this post? You can guess in the comments to the post, and I will answer you)

PS: And yes, if you want a fish like NFT - you can test your luck and catch one of the three options (Common, Rare and Legendary - the rating is assigned depending on the size of the fish) on the mentioned website.
