I began my journey working with OpenAI's new embeddings API. I ended up writing an API in Go that used vector embeddings of the Bible to enable semantic search for everyday people. This is the start of this project, which I plan to continue on for a while. I created a React Native app that I ended up sending to Testflight for a few friends. I found that many people didn't intuitively understand what made semantic search so special, and I'm afraid they didn't give it a long enough shot to see how unique it is.
