I worked on a personal project that ended up teaching me several new techniques and practices in the software world. This is a bot that uses web scraping and public APIs to store statistics from several video games as user profiles inside of a MongoDB. This data is then retrievable by telling the bot what statistic to get and the Discord profile name. The bot also provides leaderboards, adding a sense of competition alongside camaraderie for their community.
