What a great start to 2023 for the team at Vault Data 😀.

When we set out to define our organisation structure and flexibility in July 2022, we were determined to create a great workspace where individuals can be the best versions of themselves. I thrive in flexible environments and value their contributions to creating high-performing cultures and a flexible workspace; therefore, I am invested in facilitating this for our existing employees and those who join us as we grow. 

Here are a number of components that reflect our culture:

  1. Work From Anywhere (WFA): We focus on trust-based leadership and value outcome over output and trust in our employees to do their job wherever they feel comfortable. A happy and relaxed employee is a productive employee.
  2. Work-Life Balance: We are quality driven, so it is in our best interest that our employees don’t burn out, and we want to ensure everyone has an outstanding work-life balance. We make an effort to look after each other, and in return, everyone is looked after 😀.
  3. Meaningful Relationships at Work: The workspace is changing; contrary to old age belief that you should not have "friends" within your workspace, we are encouraged to have meaningful relationships at work. Read more about this here.
  4. Psychologically Safe Environment: We want to build a psychologically safe environment where anyone can ask for help. We also encourage celebrating successes and failures and consider failing an essential part of our learning! 
  5. Laugh Together: We laugh a lot, look at some of the hilarious pictures we've published; there are many more, and we may need an online album to share our beautiful smiles! Only when an individual is truly happy can they do their best in their roles. 
  6. Feedback: We value feedback as often it can be with honesty, optimism, concern for others, differences of opinions, and with an intent to listen rather than respond. Everything we do is driven by feedback, and we like everything LEAN
  7. Culture-Add: We want our employees to add and define our culture instead of having to fit into one (say no to culture-fit), so we can embrace change and continuously improve ourselves to be better than yesterday. 

A great day for the Vault Data team to celebrate, and I look forward to many more milestones for us to cherish together.
