Miami Fashion Week is known as one of the most relevant fashion shows in the United States and it's seen as an institution in Latin America. Additionally, it has become a gateway for Europe, more specifically Spain and Italy. I am happy to be working with the producers to shift the perception of Miami FW as it is a unifying vehicle to represent the interests in fashion of Miami-Dade County and the State of Florida.
I was joined by my colleague, CaSandra Diggs, President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to discuss with the government & institutional leaders how we can move fashion forward in Miami. This is just one of the channels through which we are working with "amplify fashion across America."
