I had the honor of being a guest speaker for the "Global Awareness Through Hip Hop Culture" music production class at the View Park Prep High School in Los Angeles via Zoom and the Hip Hop CommUniversity powered by Martha Diaz and the Hip Hop Education Center!

Big thank you to the students* (who've dealt with a lot before and during this pandemic) and to Mr. Sebastien Elkouby who is not only an excellent teacher but founder of this course curriculum which is now the longest running Hip Hop education course for high school students in the country! It's also a certified college prep course and he's going on to train educators in numerous systems!

Learning more about the students and what this community has been through the last few years
was highly enlightening. Proud to be a part, listen, learn, and share not just words but a written multi-media document the students can come back to for their own research and creativity. Hip Hop is a billion dollar cultural industry of mass influence in less than 50 years on Earth and deserves its place as a tool for dynamic education and career development, especially for youth.
