In March 2020, NHS front-line medical staff were working up to 24 hours straight without food. It was a disaster. Some wonderful people (who happen to be friends of mine) started a brilliant initiative to get food into the hands of medical staff, while also helping to fund food-providers who had been shut down by Covid rules. It was a massive push, and on top of raising 2 million GBP from the public, we onboarded over 100 volunteer staff in 90 days to run this massive delivery operation.
