I'm Ethan Welsh, I am a Music Industry Program major at Drexel University. Within the program, I study the recording arts and music production track. I actually started at a liberal arts college in Boston where I was studying Communications and after one semester I could tell in my gut that I was going to drive myself crazy if I didn't study something regarding music. In the span of less than a week, I was able to leave my old school, apply to Drexel, and get accepted. All those switching schools and moving from one city to another in such a short amount of time was challenging, I can honestly say that I've never been happier than where I am now. One thing that I think is going to aid me in my success is my desire to learn. My studying goes well beyond the expectations for your average student. I'm really passionate about music end so whenever I have free time I'm always trying to teach myself more. Whether it be teaching myself new software or different aspects of mixing a song, I'm always trying to grow and I think that's very valuable especially in the music field.
