So, as a freelancer, I needed a website.  Given that I'm a mobile and backend developer, this was an interesting new challenge. I wanted something simple, but fast and effective and low maintenance. This led me down the path of using a static generator called Zola, written in Rust, with some hand-rolled HTML and CSS.

At the end of the day, I walked away with something I'm happy with, able to update and respect for front-end developers!
