Cloud technologies are not only the basis of our #IoT products, but part of our DNA. For me, #cloud means to be independent of location and device and to be able to manage the complete IT around the clock from anywhere in the world. The high level of flexibility makes it possible for me to react quickly to unplanned events with minimal human resources and at the same time to implement planned further developments. The advantages were particularly apparent to me in the past two months, when I had to quickly adapt IT operations to the new circumstances. Not only locations, but also internal processes changed. The move from four office locations in Switzerland, Germany and the USA to seventy private satellites did not require additional financial resources, personnel or technical changes. All I had to do was switch the supply chains for IT equipment from the offices to private addresses.
