Engaged in activism
Over the past few months, I’ve been doing some correspondence-based activism - basically writing long, sincere letters to global leaders by way of public-view Google Docs and surveillance engagement. The conceptual framework of this year’s work has been a bit heavy-to-hold, as surveillance engagement has been a primary methodology. Fortunately, at least for the moment, it turns out that a person can antagonize governmental agencies in the effort to draw surveillance and nothing much has seemed changed in my everyday life. I still don’t even know if anyone is paying attention, much less following my every move and reading every word I send out to the ethers. I sure hope that someone is reading - I’ve been trying to convey some things for a long time!
