I'm a 3rd-year Computer Science Engineering Undergraduate from Presidency University. I started my journey into open source last year during the pandemic and initial lockdown, The Project was a part of my FOSSEE fellowship during the Summer of 2020. FOSSEE (Free/Libre and Open Source Software for Education) project promotes the use of FLOSS tools in academia and research. The FOSSEE project is part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. During this time I worked on Esim on Cloud, A web-based system for designing and simulating electronic (eSim) and Arduino circuits. I majorly worked on the frontend part of the project, implementing logic to produce netlist from schematics so that it can be sent to the backend where it gets simulated using ngspice.
