I was hired at the EKU IT Geeks as a front-desk worker. I later was a part of the continuous improvement team, which was responsible for brainstorming solutions to help make our workload more efficient and easier.
Later, in my sophomore year, I joined the tech team, which had a goal similar to the continuous improvement team's but more in relation to the technology we used or could use. Here, I created a Figma UX prototype for an in-development web-based software solution to assist the front-desk workers in checking people in to use our computer lab hands free in the midst of the COVID pandemic, as per college/state health guidelines.
I reluctantly parted ways from the IT Geeks in September of 2020 when I decided to leave college.
