I redesigned my portfolio site and got rid of my Jekyll blog for good. This was a mostly one-day process, starting early today and continuing off some ideas I had the night prior. This redesign involved changing my personal brand mark, my site's design, and adding "design briefs," which are descriptions of design work I've done for others, myself, and fake clients to show my capabilities.
