Hosted by Student Solutions, Hack the Flow is an online application programming contest series focused on exploring the art of innovation. We planned to host it annually as an opportunity for students to learn more about themselves, technology, and others— a wealth of information from workshops, guest speaker sessions, and more. Students nurture their creative problem-solving abilities in this contest and explore their passions. Across the United States, students compete with each other to creatively design unique concepts and applications that may be used to help people in the future. We recently hosted Hack the Flow: Beta this past March; we had sponsorships from tech companies and awarded monetary prizes to the top participants in their respective categories as determined by a panel of judges. In June 2023, we planned to host Hack the Flow 2023, a similar competition of a much larger scale. Student Solutions is a collaborative network of computer science club leaders in high schools across Texas. Although I was a Founding Member and the Chief Executive Officer for Student Solutions, I served as the Public Relations Director for Hack the Flow. I specialized in communicating with sponsors, partners, judges, and participants via email and creating social media content on platforms such as Instagram to promote Hack the Flow. I also assisted with designing and writing informative material for prospective sponsors, employing Canva for graphic design.
