As Retainer Team Lead my main responsibilities involve meeting with clients regularly and dealing with their requests in our content management system Wrike. I would then assign then to different members of my team, sharing advice and QAing the work once complete, before sending over to the clients to review.
As it is a hybrid mode, I also spend a large amount of time completing tickets myself, implementing new features to our client sites, or making continuous page speed / SEO improvements.
Any time I have spare I am constantly looking at self improvement or finding ways to improve the quality and efficiency of our team, through various methods such as creating a custom dashboard using the Wrike API or making improvements to our internal starter repo.
Internal Growth team - having regular discussions with leading members across the company in how we can improve and grow the company.
Alongside this we had a separate Development growth team the Head of Development tasked me to lead to pinpoint areas of our dev process that can be improved. Whilst also creating documentation that any future developers could use.
Implementing Client Satisfaction surveys
Creating monthly reports for Clients and upper management
Working alongside designers, reviewing design work before it is handed over to my team, ensuring all work is doable and providing an estimate of the work.
Daily meetings with team members to go over work and to answer any queries they have.
Creating a Resourcing spreadsheet with the CEO and head of sales/Client services, so we can accurately monitor design and development resourcing within the retainer department to work out when sales can be made or if more staff are needed.
My job roles and duties have evolved over the two years at Together, giving me a chance to grow my skills into many different areas, whilst using my accumulated expertise to advise where I can.
