Diversity in tech
Black talks:
Participating in a talk with consultant and activist Mafoane Odara, one of the most important brazilian voices in the debates on diversity, equity and inclusion of gender and race in the corporate world.

The psychologist has a master's degree in Psychology from the University of São Paulo, columnist, researcher, and today acts as human resources leader for Latin America at Meta. Mafoane usually defines herself as a bridge builder and collector of good questions.

In addition, it promotes reflections on the challenges faced by women in the areas of confronting violence, motherhood, career and institutional policy. It is worth remembering that the activist participated in the last edition of Expert, on the panel: "Diversity We Are All"

Published a Figma Community File
Completed a Whiteboard Exercise
Utilized Open-Source Framework
+ 1

I used this framework template to solve a recent challenge I'm working on and decided to share the translated version in Portuguese on the Community. Doing product design whiteboard exercises can help make the early steps of the process more comfortable. I had contact for the first time, through the mentoring I did with Thiago, and it helped a lot in my challenges and interviews.

The original "Whiteboard" template is from designer Victoria (and I asked to translate and publish on twitter, thank you Victoria!).

Became a beta tester
Usability testing
Beta tester remote
I sent feedbacks after doing the remote usability test on Wonderpath about interaction and experience. The product is in private beta and is an amazing way to be able to share goals and also get feedback on where we can improve is essential in our professional career.

The tool assists in planning to set goals, collect advice and build action plans. Designed for multiple user profiles because you can use it individually no matter where you work.

Very cool to have participated for the first time as a beta tester remotely :)

Supported a crowdfunding
I supported the project "Clube do Livro do Design" (Design Book Club), conceived by designer Tereza Bettinardi during 2020 with the purpose of creating an environment for the exchange of references and dialogue between brazilian graphic designers and interested people through reading graphic design books and related areas.

About the project:
"Two observations: the bibliography on graphic design in Portuguese is still quite limited and access to foreign books is still very difficult — either because of the difficulty of shipping, or because of the conversion price that makes the releases even more restricted. Not only that: the production of books written by brazilian authors and designers is also quite small.

Based on this conclusion and from this inconvenience, we had the idea of transforming the Clube do Livro do Design project into a publisher. This was the way we found a way to continue a dialogue with the community we created and also honor the legacy of so much discussion and exchange with the participants."

Fluxus Fungus

"What if our indeterminate way of life was not the shape of our bodies, but the shape of our movements over time? Such indeterminacy expands our concept of human life, showing us how we are transformed by the encounter. Humans and fungi share these transformations here and now through the encounter. Sometimes they look for each other." Anna Tsing

Since my adolescence, I have always been enchanted by the magical universe of fungi and mushrooms. I took some photographs when I was 14 years old, since my first cybershot camera. Found Tuane Eggers work over 12 years ago on Flickr. I was able to send my photos to compose the artist and photographer's final master's project, and couldn't be more proud of the connections that nature, art and the internet can bring us. <3

"Dive into the magical world of fungi. From mushrooms that clean up oil spills to underground fungal networks that help trees communicate:"
