The team atSkift and TripActions surveyed over 1000 corporate travel decision makers and business travelers to put together the seminal State of Corporate Travel and Expense 2022 report this year.
Some topline findings below:
  • 77% of Corporate Travel Decision Makers (CTDMs) agree that travel is STILL important for driving company growth
  • 71% share that their biggest concern when restarting programs is timely information about the shifting health & safety landscape
  • 63% are interested in a unified solution for managing corporate travel and spend.
  • 63% said of decisionmakers report that their offices will be partially remote after the pandemic
  • 79% of travelers and 71% of decisionmakers say their #1 concern with travel right now is getting the timely information they need about dynamic travel changes.
  • Only 48% of travelers currently use corporate cards on travel (a huge missed opportunity for finance leaders) while 70% would prefer to use a company card.
