CanSat2021 - Team Helix

The objective of this project was to deploy two bio-mimicked maple seed payloads from a CanSat at a specified altitude, and transmit the collected data from the payload to the ground station through the CanSat. This effort was part of a competition hosted by the American Astronautical Society. Extensive tasks were undertaken, such as CAD modeling for component design, flight software programming for data transmission and control, PCB design and fabrication for hardware implementation, and system integration to assemble all parts into a functioning unit. The entire project was managed efficiently even in the face of challenges posed by the pandemic lockdown. A documentary detailing the project's execution is hyperlinked for a more in-depth look at the process and outcomes.
