My postdoctoral research at the Brain, Body, & Self Lab focuses on understanding how our fundamental ability to perceive our body as our own contributes to the formation and retrieval of memories for events. I completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Sussex where I used a combination of virtual reality and neuroimaging to investigate how the brain processes memories viewed from different visual perspectives, that is whether an event is experienced from the perspective one's own eyes or those of an outside observer. I have a passion for science communication that has led me to participate in several public outreach events, podcasts, and an upcoming documentary.
