Book Review: Einstein: His Life and Universe
Einstein by Walter Isaacson is one of the books I see in book recommendation articles online, I don't usually read biographies but since it was frequently recommended, I picked it up on sale and I am glad I did. The book was superbly written, it humanizes Einstein, showing not only his academic life but also what he was like as a normal citizen, from his hobbies and eccentricities to his challenges and beliefs. Walter Isaacson revealed all of Einstein's imperfections without diminishing his achievements, in fact, it might have made me more in awe of his intellect and courage. Einstein was imperfect and maybe this is why to me he is a perfect role model. This book infected me with Einstein's unquenchable curiosity and encouraged me to read more about science.
