I did 3 years of study at Xi'an Jiaotong University in China, but finished my degree from Colorado Boulder. Following, I did translation, journalism, and business development management at various startups (mostly tech) in Beijing for about 3 years. 

I got interested in tech at the Beijing startups and decided to move back to the States to attend a coding bootcamp. That led me to an apprenticeship at Microsoft and then 3 years as a full stack dev on the public platform team with Stack Overflow. 

Now I'm fitting the pieces together: I'm pursuing an MS in computational linguistics from UW to tie together my studies in language and computer science and I'm just about to start a developer relations job with Uiflow to tie together my professional experience in business development and full stack coding.
