SO long ago that CDs weren't even a thing.
My first recording (on tape) was with the Military Band I was in at the time. We recorded it at a studio in Hounslow, UK.
Several years later we recorded a CD, but the studio came up to the band room in Catterick. I played the Sax solo in Pavane In Blue on the CD that was titled "Airmobile Infantry". We had to call it that because the Battalion we were attached to was part of the Airmobile Brigade at the time.
