I guess I have always known that my career path would take an unexpected turn. Born in a family of entrepreneurs, I was raised believing I would succeed in my family's construction business. In high school I studied Economy & Management, then I graduated with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. While I have not worked in any of these fields, the knowledge I gained has helped me while working in the construction industry.
You see, as an experimenter by heart, I have always loved testing new concepts and techniques. My curiosity never sleeps which explains the numerous books and articles I read every year. Even while working in the construction and trade industry I was interested in technology - I developed internal software for my family and helped my friends with their websites. What I considered a hobby was slowly becoming something more.
The turning point occurred when a close friend of mine invited me to a Porsche Hackathon in Austria. We developed an AI that recognizes different car models. And we won 1st prize. I thought it was the perfect time to pursue something I loved to do as a job. Then I founded Eden Tech Labs - an indie dev studio based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The rest is a story that continues to unfold.
