Created and worked on a project
Bobbacast - Co-Creator, Co-Host and Transcriber (June to Dec 2020)

The first ever podcast that brings Habbos together and shares their stories. After all, what are online game communities? How can they help develop new skills, reveal talents and discover new passions? Why do you still play Habbo? And why are videogames so cool?

It also gained a Portuguese-Brazilian version, Bobbacast Brasil. Later on, the project was expanded to a spinoff, Bobbacast Sessions - a snapshot of what is going on inside the community, presented by Elysse.

All branding guidelines, graphics, and full audio operations are reserved to Tomi Tuulaniemi.

The idea to create Bobbacast came from the necessity of understanding how an MMO game with 20 years of history had impacted the lives of its players: how it had boosted or developed their skills in and off-line. Also, it was the merge of an existing gap since it was the first podcast ever made that was bringing together people's voices beyond their avatars and gameplay.

The results were surprising: engagement across social media was fast, it got more than 100 listens per episode and ended up expanding to Bobbacast Sessions - a spin-off focused on the game mechanics-, and Bobbacast Brasil - for the Luso-Brazilian market. It also inspired the creation of more podcasts across the community: BletCast, Unmuted, and The Kingdom Podcast.

This project allowed me to develop skills in public speaking, content marketing, writing, transcription and translation PT-EN. Alongside two more friends later joined by smaller teams, and although short, this podcast consolidated the premise that indeed, online communities are powerful and videogames do change lives.
