Have you ever had a dream where you could picture it becoming possible but eventually having to realize it wasn’t actually possible?
Growing up I dreamed of playing ice hockey in large arenas in front of screaming fans..

Sadly although I played hockey in college I realized that at 5 foot 9 and below average speed that dream was simply just a dream…
Never would i have imagined that one day I’d be in front of tens of thousands of people in a giant arena…
The paths to our goals and dream jobs are seldom if ever a straight line…
But in my case and I’m sure for so many it’s filled with pivots and disjointed career jumps…
But what I’m here to share is the path doesn’t have to make sense as long as you lean into it and enjoy the journey!
Tomorrow I will take center stage at Wintrust Arena to give my Digital Empathy Keynote program at @naahq #Apartmentalize event!!
This isn’t the largest event I’ve spoke in front of but it is the first sports arena..
It sure would have been cool to tell that 20 year old version of myself at @radfordu that one day after you rack up 20 years of unique experiences and take center stage of an arena and do what you were born to do!!
Yes some dreams won’t come true but if you’re willing to lean into the journey you might just be able to reinvent your dreams in ways you could have never imaged!
