I arrived in Japan as part of the Vulcanus in Japan 2019/2020 program, organised by the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation πͺπΊπ―π΅!Β
The start of 1 year of adventures in a completely new and foreign country! I'm excited!Β

The Vulcanus in Japan programme consists of industrial placements for EU students in Japan. The participants are chosen from among the best students (over 800 applications/year) in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture or Sciences. The ultimate objective is to familiarise a pool of future executives with the other side's business culture so that they will be well-placed to help their future employers in their business relations with Europe or Japan.
The students follow:
- One-week seminar on Japan,
- Four-month intensive Japanese language course,
- Eight-month traineeship in a Japanese company.
