The past year has been a great journey. I had the opportunity to grow my personal brand by setting up my blog jamescook.dev
2021 is officially a wrap!
The past year has been a great journey. I had the opportunity to grow my personal brand by setting up my blog jamescook.dev and releasing posts regularly. Today I sit at over 20k readers thanks to the content being shared by the Cloud community and Microsoft’s DevBlog team.
I was able to develop my skills and I am now a Microsoft Certified Trainer. With the new skills I’ve developed and the growth of my personal brand, I changed companies and now hold the role of DevOps Engineer.
While changing jobs, I had the opportunity to work with Peter de Tender on a video collaboration around Azure Sentinel and DevOps. I was also awarded Cloud Champion for the month of September, something I was so pleased to receive.
I end the year with plans to continue growing my personal brand and share my knowledge with the Cloud community. I have already been accepted as a speaker at the Scottish Summit in February to talk about Microsoft Azure.
