Blind Uranus announces today the production of the Alternative Space History Story Proxima!
Over the last month we have been sitting down with the author of the very popular story, which continues weekly with a new chapter in an Internet forum, and discussing a licensing agreement. Now we can officially confirm that Blind Uranus has acquired the video rights of the story and in cooperation with artists as well as with the author will produce the individual chapters as audio videos and will be published on an independent YouTube channel at regular intervals starting in October!
Such a cooperation is not new for us. Already in April this year we produced chapter one of the story and published it on the channel Explain Something. Here is a link to watch: https://youtu.be/Wg9wequxESY
The other chapters will be uploaded to a new channel, which will be promoted with a big campaign starting this fall.
"This agreement is a big step for us. It shows our willingness to create great things in collaboration and confirms our goal to produce high quality content. With the wonderful community that Proxima brings, we promise ourselves a great new audience. And the best thing about the audio video format is that people can stream it when they want and without necessarily watching the screen. For example, while driving or falling asleep. That's why we chose this format. It's going to be great, I'm looking forward to it," says Jan Böhm, CEO of Blind Uranus.
Production starts now and the first chapter will be released on October 15.
