Varsity Ice Hockey

I was responsible for the broadcast of many events throughout the Nottingham Varsity Series, which saw the University of Nottingham compete with Nottingham Trent University in a selection of sporting competitions.

The largest of these was the Varsity Ice Hockey, which took place at the National Ice Centre. In my role as Head of Technology and Digital, I was responsible for feeding back live audio to our studio from the arena and managing 7 presenters.

Throughout the two weeks of Varsity, I was tasked with ensuring that we could broadcast from several locations on and off campus, bringing live commentary to the URN audience.
