## Evening Polyworkians!

I've been too busy to do a morning one these days! Jumping right into the salt mine and moving right along and I don't have any time to write anything up! But last week I missed my 750 words on Wednesday due to a long Halo session, so I need to get started on this before I get started on that!

We had a pretty long D:OS2 session last night. A couple pretty good battles. One that was way over our heads, so we headed off into a different direction. Long ways to going up a level. Like 130,000 points. at about 3,000 per monster, that is a lot of fighting before we are ready for this guy. About 100 hours in and I may be getting a little tired of it...

I am 10 books behind my admittedly aggressive Goodreads goal of 50 books. Doubt I will get caught up, although I do have a number of them in progress, so if I get to reading more, maybe I can at least get close. Between no reading and no boardgaming, I have been in quite the intellectual slump. I also need to get back to my Machine Learning edX class. I think I only have a couple weeks to finish it.

Electrician is here to ostensibly finish up the kitchen. On Friday morning, the carpenter comes for a final touch up and maybe, just maybe, we'll be done with the big stuff. Tons of little stuff to be done - painting, tiles, etc - but at least we will be done with contractors. It all started March 29th -- yup, over 3 months ago. We have been able to cook, thanks to modern inventions like the air fryer, microwave and Insta-pot. But it has been a long slow grind.

Like I said, the salt mine has been incredibly busy the last couple of days. Lots of meetings - planning, debugging, etc. I haven't really gotten any coding done, which is annoying. Maybe tomorrow, although I have to talk to a few on my team to see how they are getting along.
