This time last year, I was very busy volunteering as communications lead for two political races in Maryland. It was the first time I was immersed in politics, and I enjoyed it.
My duties included organizing events (e.g. video shoots and kickoff and fundraisers), crafting talking points, arranging interviews, facilitating call times, creating content for and maintaining sites and social media.
