A though provoking piece with an encouragement to self-reflect. I respect the Author's acknowledgement that Grit is a component of many other success factors while also being influenced by exposure to Grit-like values and examples from a young age.
It was interesting to see the importance of defining and understanding how to nurture this value. Also, it brought to mind how this is a generational trait and can be associated to socioeconomic backgrounds.
