I’ve been building with computers since I was a kid. I grew up with HTML tables and spacer gifs. Now it’s all about complex systems that run businesses and distributed products that create value for people. Other interests include a powerlifting & Olympic gym I started and ran for 6 years, grad school for an MTS, board games, card games, movies & TV, baking, and hikes with my wife and dog.

A nice week of vacation to catch up on some life stuff and read all the articles and books that I've had on deck. Deep dive into throttling an SQS + Lambda workflow in order to handle tens of thousands of updates and remote API calls. Its been a great summer so far.
