As the first employee of Propeller, a Social Innovation Incubator in New Orleans, I set the foundation for the company's organizational culture, and 10 years later, the organization is still living them. In my role as Director of Programs, I developed the foundation for all of Propeller’s programming, which has now led to the launch and growth of 215 mission-driven ventures, $112 million generated in external financing, revenues, and grants, 485 full- and part-time jobs created, and $200,000+ in seed funding awarded. By the time I left in 2016, Propeller and its venture portfolio had gained international attention from The New York Times, TIME, Entrepreneur Magazine, GOOD, Forbes, WIRED, and The Los Angeles Times.
