The startup I've been at for the past few years was acquired by Twitter. Which is amazing, because I am a compulsive bird app user, and have been for my entire adult life.

I've discovered so many fascinating things through Twitter. I traveled around the world with Twitter. I went to conferences I never would have (like ShanghaiJS) and met people who changed the trajectory of my life. I met my partner on Twitter. My cat is on Twitter.

As luck would have it, now I get to help build the next chapter of the web- one that is equitable, generative, flourishing, and humane. I am excited as hell to be here.
