My name is Alex and I've been working on exiting a 13 year long career in hospitality to follow my passion into storytelling through the art of animation. Whether it's 3D, 2D, puppet-based or something in between, I've always held a fascination with animation. 

I'd started my career all the way back in 2008 with what I thought was my passion for game design while attending a now-defunct college, but it turned out to be a bust, and a very expensive lesson. With an oversaturated Game Art market during the Great Recession, I realized I needed to hone skills that would get me the kinds of creative jobs I wanted. 

Fast forward 10 years, 4 of which were dedicated to learning how to draw on my own, through self-study, and I OFFICIALLY started my journey to a career in 3D Animation in 2019, specifically for Children's TV, where I hope to land my first position after graduating college with a Bachelors in Animation in 2024.

My career may just be starting but I'm putting my all into it!
