2 Days of Delays, But We Finally Made It to El Nido!

I've been dreaming of visiting El Nido for a while, but my journey there has been anything but smooth.

My first flight was canceled after hours of waiting, and the day after was even more waiting with no updates.

I was starting to get somewhat frustrated, but then I started talking to some other backpackers who were also experiencing delays.

They told me that they see delays as an adventure, a break from the norm.

At first, I didn't understand how they could be so positive about it.

But then I realized that they were right. Instead of sitting there and procrastinating, we played games like guess when the plane might arrive.

One of the songs I sang in my head was "I'll See You When You Get There" by Coolio. The song is about overcoming obstacles and staying positive in the face of adversity.

It's a reminder that even when things don't go according to plan, we can still make the most of the situation.

I finally made it to El Nido on the second day, but it was raining cats and dogs. We didn't let that dampen our spirits, though.

We just put on our walking boots and went exploring to see what is around.

We even waded through the beach water to reach our apartment.

The next day, the rain stopped for a while, and we were able to explore El Nido town center. I remembered that it's important to stay positive, even when things don't go according to plan.

I also remembered that it's important to make the most of every situation, even if it's not ideal. If you're ever feeling down, just remember my story.

Remember that even when things are tough, you can still make the most of it.

And remember that you're not alone. We're all in this together.
