Here is a challenge for all you procrastinators out thereā€¦. Procrastination Jar! To raise funds for a charity, your goals or cause by donating money every time someone procrastinates, while also recognizing and taking steps to overcome procrastination. Instructions: Choose a charity, goal or cause that you want to support. Get a jar or container and label it as the "Procrastination Jar". Set a goal for how much money you want to raise for the charity or cause. Decide on a donation amount for each instance of procrastination. For example, you could donate $1 for every hour someone spends procrastinating. Get a group of friends, family, or colleagues to participate in the game. You can even do it solo. Each time someone procrastinates, they must put the designated donation amount into the jar. Keep track of everyone's donations and monitor progress towards the fundraising goal. Once the goal is reached, donate the funds to the chosen charity or cause. Bonus Challenge: In addition to donating to the jar, every time you procrastinate, write down one thing you will do differently next time to avoid procrastination. Then, take action on that change immediately. This bonus challenge helps participants become more self-aware of their procrastination habits and encourages them to take steps to overcome it. By recognizing and making changes to their behavior, they can improve their productivity and ultimately raise more money for the chosen charity or cause. Optional: You can add incentives or rewards for those who take action on their changes and report their progress, such as extra recognition or a prize. Remember, the goal of this game is not just to raise funds for a good cause, but also to encourage productivity and personal growth.
