I’m an engineer, writer and public speaker.

Currently, I’m Leader for Global Operations fellow at MIT pursuing my MBA and Masters in Engineering.

I’ve worked as an iOS engineer at Slack and Calm where I built features and systems like in-app notifications and flexible onboarding questionnaires.

I’m the creator of We Read Too, a mobile directory of children’s and young adult books written by authors of color. My own love of reading inspired me to create the app, my favorite genre is speculative fiction and my favorite author is Octavia Butler.

For my writing and speaking, I’ve covered topics such as mobile development, accessibility, notifications, culture of the technology industry, my personal journey into tech and more.

Finished a Triathlon
I finished my first triathlon! The Rev3 New England Olympic consisted of a 1500m swim, 40k bike ride and a 10k run. I was so proud to cross the finish line and have all my months of training pay off! As someone who wasn't an athlete growing up, I'm really proud to be able to call myself a triathlete. Already signed up for my next race, I've caught the triathlon bug!

Completed a century ride
I rode my first century! Started in Oakland and rode up to Sacramento, 108 miles, 4k+ feet of elevation and 7 hours 44 minutes later we were done. Amazing group of folks who encouraged me along the whole way. Excited for more century rides to come!
