Read a new book

Alright, we’re two books completed for the year and it’s been one must read after the other thus far. For the past few years I’ve been looking at how I can make major improvements or adjustsments personally and professionally. It always felt like an uphill battle and things wouldn’t just “stick” how I’d hope.


This book Atomic Habits breaks down the concept of building and breaking habits in such an easy to understand and apply way that it felt like having a cheat sheet for your “life” exam lol.


So far, I’m on an 11 day Duolingo streak, 18 day meditation streak, have been more organized than I’ve ever been, and I’ve made reading daily a habit. Now these aren’t the biggest numbers or most dramatic of changes, but they’re just the kind of small adjustments that compound into major habit changes that this book talks about.


Basically, this book 100% lives up to the hype lol. Grade: 5 old fashions 🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃
