Create a Basic GeneratePress & GenerateBlocks Starter Site and Child Theme
When I published my full website build video the other day, the majority of comments I got was about my starter site / child theme setup.
I'm not sure there's a great way to share that (since it's chocked full of premium plugins, and code I didn't author), so I tried to do the next best thing and show you how to set one up for yourself!
In this video I start with a blank install of WordPress and:
- Install all the plugins & themes
- Create a child theme
- Add tweaks to my child theme (code is available for download in the video description)
- Create a simple Style Guide page that ties into the customizer settings
- Creating GenerateBlocks Global Styles
- Setup my standard GeneratePress "Elements"
