November 2018: first professional training. First seed of the idea.
January to May 2019: More training. Drafting of the business plan. Creation of social media account.
June 2019: I start to look for the location. I do a first pop-up for pride month.
September to December: Meeting with banks to secure a loan.
January 2020: I find the perfect place. Rue Dussoubs. Montorgueil Neighborhood, close to Les Halles.
February 2020: The lease is signed. The project is going through vetting process at the bank. The first employee signs a contract. We will open with the cherry blossom.
March 17 2020: The lockdown starts.
March 2020: Banks bach down from the deal.
April 2020: I decide to invest more of my own money.
June 2020: Refurbishing works starts.
July 18 2020: Grand opening. A success, a line around the block. Everything sells out.
October 31st 2020: We cancel the Halloween party. We close for the second lockdown.
December 2020: We put on a Queer Xmas Market in a few weeks.
January 2021 to May 2021: We keep on communication on social media. We start a takeaway service for lunch.
June 2021: I run out of funds and start the foreclosure process.
