What I learned: Abi is leading the people team at 54gene, a fast-growing genomics startup with team members in DC, Nigeria, and remote. I'm really impressed with the number of people Abi has hired in the past 18 months (hint: a lot). They are hiring a good number of molecular scientists and had to figure out an innovative way to do that quickly by building their own training program.
