On September 17, 2013, a typical and beautiful Fall day in Denver, Colorado but no ordinary September because it was only the second-ever Denver Startup Week, I coined a "little" event called Women Who Startup. Nearly 300 people showed up and it was the beginning of one of the fastest-growing communities of entrepreneurs in Colorado.

Women Who Startup has since grown to be virtually global and has launched in many cities across the U.S.
