Hey, I'm Lyn.
I'm an engineer, writer, speaker, dev educator, advocate of the culture, and a floral artist.

I'm passionate about sharing a love of learning with the next gen and getting folx excited about tech. And about creating safe spaces for BIPOC to learn, grow, and thrive in tech.

I'm interested in meeting diverse open source maintainers, speaking and sharing engagements, guest writing opportunities, and collaborating in the open source space.

In my downtime, I love gardening and growing veggies and flowers for my local community. I play all sorts of video games (virtual worlds are my fav), and love going on nature adventures with my family. I have an insatiable travelust and hope to one day visit each part of the world.

  • Created a influencer program and gained company-wide approval to lift the voices of influential open source maintainers with paid opportunities
  • Standardized our team's support process and responded to over 100 application requests since
  • Created a Maintainer's Perspective promotional video that was widely viewed during a company All Hands
  • Led a team to create new learning paths for maintainers visiting our website
  • Met with various industry professionals for potential sponsorship opportunities for diverse open source contributors
  • Organized our internal Diversity and Inclusion pod around actionable support and sponsorship in the open source community
