Today the Ace Cabs Driver app and the entire service went live.

Among the Demonitization declared in India a couple days ago, I traveled to the Ace Cabs HQ in New Delhi with my colleague who owns the Android development. We are supported by the team remotely from Bengaluru.

The API server is deployed on Heroku since that provides maximum developer productivity without the need to spend time managing the server infrastructure.

The Driver app was already released on Google Play Store some time ago so that the fleet of drivers are ready with their devices.
