The Founders and Funders community is designed to help you learn about the latest opportunities available to founders and investors of color. Founders learn about the different types of funding available, how to pitch your idea to investors and more. Funders get unprecedented access to high quality startups founded by people of color across the United States!
News: Founders and Funders of Color is officially forming as a Section 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit corporation available to serve your market. As a result of witnessing firsthand what is possible when we connect our ecosystems, we have set out to meet the mission of engaging in 21st Century Activism through investments into entrepreneurs and changing the way fundraising happens today for our Founders and Funders of Color.
For 2022, we are committing to rolling out in the Southeast, the region reported by the Kauffman Fellows to have raised 42.9% less than the median nationwide average, prioritizing the immediate need. Our next events will be in Miami before the end of the year and returning to Atlanta Q1 2023. Stay tuned for our subsequent rollouts nationwide where we have the largest number of Black and Latina/o Founders in need of Venture Capital nationwide.
