Week no. 4 of the UX/UI bootcamp Memorisely

I have learned incredible much this week.

➡️ What do I take with me?

Last week we were still working with wireframes, whereas this week we are preparing the actual design. It's all about UI design.

👩‍💻Hands-on we worked together as a class in Figma and created styles like color palettes and fonts. We also designed components and several variants of them in Figma. Great to get deeper into this incredible tool every time!

The use of predefined styles, components and variants makes the later design ✨supa fast✨. With the help of a grid system, components can be arranged exactly so that there is a coherent picture.

And don't forget: Use the 8pt rule to give your design a consistent look. If you use 8 or a multiple of 8️⃣ for all spacing, sizes, margins and paddings, your design will adapt more easily to the many display variants available today! Always design with 8️⃣ in mind!

So my case study for Margot Community is taking shape. The first color palettes are created and components and variants are designed.

I am so excited for week 5! Let's go! 🚀
